Update:
We have been informed that this process is going to take a lot longer than we hoped. It could be 7 months or more for the processing of the request to have our family moved to Canada. Prayers are welcome for this beloved family and everyone working on this important ministry.

If you have any information on an apartment to rent for our refugee family, we would love to hear from you! You can reach us here. (We may be looking into later 2025 or early 2026 for housing.)
In anticipation of the arrival of our refugee family, we are asking for your help to furnish their apartment. If there is an item that you would be willing to donate or purchase, please visit the Item Sign-Up Page. A hard copy of the sign-up sheet will also be available at the church. Tax receipts will be given for all donations over $20. In the case of donated items, the receipt will be for the item's fair market value. The OMID team will contact you to arrange for the pick-up/drop-off of your item if needed. -Thank you.

Our first fundraiser took place on Friday, May 24th. This beautiful dinner featured food from the region our sponsored family is from. There was musical entertainment and a silent auction. It was a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with members of our local Afghan community who have partnered with us to make this sponsorship possible.
