Welcome to St. Anne's! Thank you for choosing to visit us!
About the Services
When you come into our front entrance, someone will offer you a bulletin which contains the Order of Service including the words we'll say and the hymns and music we'll sing, as well as anouncements about what else is happening at St. Anne's.
The 8:30am service uses the Book of Alternative Services (BAS) but you won't have to worry about following a book as the bulletin has the entire service printed in it. This service is a spoken, with no sung hymns and is held in-person only.
The 10am service also uses the BAS and the service is found in the bulletins as well as on our digital screens. At this service our choir joins us and there are sung hymns and other music that the congregation can join in on throughout. Our 10 am services are offered on Zoom as well for folks who don't live nearby or aren't able to be with us in person.
About the Music
At St. Anne's we are blessed to have two resources to draw on for our hymns (songs) - the Anglican hymn book, Common Praise (blue book) and the United Church book, Voices United (red book).
About Children in Church
Children are always welcome! Kids will make noise - and that's ok!
All children are welcome to join the priest for a kid-friendly discussion at the front of the sanctuary near the beginning of our 10 am services. Then, any children who are interested are welcome to the Side Chapel where we offer Godly Play materials and a snack. Parents and care givers are welcome in the Side Chapel as well.
